Shunsui Kyōraku

Shunsui Kyōraku is the easygoing yet exceptionally powerful captain of the 1st Division and eventually becomes the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. Despite his relaxed personality and love of sake, he is a master swordsman and a brilliant strategist who becomes deadly serious when protecting his comrades.
